Dacula Pilot Killed in Sunday Plane Crash
The plane crashed onto the golf course of a Barrow County country club.

A Dacula man was killed when the plane he was piloting Sunday crashed onto the golf course of a Barrow County country club.
Billy K. Bryant, of Dacula, was confirmed as the deceased Monday by the Barrow County coroner’s office.
Barrow County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. Scott Dakin told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. Sunday at The Georgia Club, a golf community in Barrow.

The plane crashed on the third hole of the course, according to the AJC.
Bryant was the only person on board the small plane, which federal aviation officials identified as a Beechcraft BE24, Dakin said.

There were golfers on the course at the time of the crash, but none were injured.
In a Facebook post, the Barrow County sheriff’s office said the investigation has been turned over to the Federal Aviation Administration. Police say there is an airport about two miles from the site of the crash.
