Decatur John Doe Remains Nameless 16 Years On
The young man's body was discovered in a wooded area off of Clifton Springs Road in February of 1999.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is hoping someone can identify a boy whose body was discovered in Decatur almost 16 years ago.
According to the center, the boy’s body was found on Feb. 26, 1999 behind a cemetery on Clifton Springs Road. He was between 5 and 7 years old but had likely been dead for several months before being found. He was around 4’ tall and weighed roughly 50 lbs.

One notable item of clothing found on the boy was a hooded pullover made of blue and white plaid in the body and dark blue thermal arms and hood. He was also wearing blue jeans and brown suede Timberland boots.
The boy likely hailed from either the Atlanta area, south Georgia, or northern Florida.
