will hold an ice cream social and groundbreaking from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at its future home -- the old Forrest Hills Elementary School at at 923 Forrest Blvd., Decatur.

The Museum School will move into the building this summer and classes will be held there this fall. The public is invited to the event.

The Museum School is a 2-year-old charter school that's been meeting in portable classrooms at a church in Avondale Estates.

The DeKalb County Board of Education granted the Museum School and gave approval for them to move into the old Forrest Hills building.
