Oakhurst Cooperative Preschool To Hold Enrollment Sessions For 2012-13


Last fall, Oakhurst Cooperative Preschool moved from the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany at 2089 Ponce de Leon Ave. NE. to at 830 W. College Ave.

Now the school is signing up students for its second year at the new location.

Oakhurst Cooperative Preschool (OCP) will soon be hosting enrollment sessions for the 2012-2013 school year at its new location at Thankful Baptist Church on W. College Avenue in the Oakhurst District of Decatur.

Enrollment sessions will be held at the school at the following times:

  • January 12, 7:30-9:30 pm
  • January 22, 2:00-4:00 pm
  • January 28, 10:00 am-12:00 pm

OCP is a green school that utilizes a curriculum created to gently raise children’s awareness of the environment in ways that engage and intrigue them while promoting empathy and respect for all living things.

OCP also strives to provide an ethnically, culturally, and economically diverse community that reflects the wider community surrounding the school.

It is united in its commitment to parent involvement in children’s learning, growth, and development.

Classes are offered to children who are between the ages of two and four on September 1st including a dedicated pre-K program for 4 year-old's.
