Recycle Your Christmas Trees Through Jan. 18

Trees will be turned into mulch for use in Gwinnett County Parks.

Recycle Your Christmas Trees Through Jan. 18

After the holidays, turn your Christmas tree into mulch for Gwinnett County parks. Drop off your undecorated, live trees from Dec. 26-Jan. 18 at one of the many locations in Gwinnett. Visit www.gwinnettcounty.com to see a list of locations.

Duluth drop-off locations include:

  • Fire Station 5: 3001 Old Norcross Road
  • Fire Station 7: 3343 Bunten Road
  • Fire Station 19: 3275 North Berkeley Lake Road

Once the trees are collected, community volunteers will chip them into mulch at Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful's annual Bring One for the Chipper event Jan. 26 from 9 a.m. to noon at Bethesda Park in Lawrenceville.

If you're interested in volunteering at this event, go to w ww.gwinnettcb.org or call 770-822-5187.
