Sneiderman Arraignment to Be Held in October

Andrea Sneiderman will be arraigned Oct. 8, instead of the earlier September date agreed to at her bond hearing Tuesday.

According to the DeKalb County Superior Court, the proceeding is where Sneiderman is expected to plead guilty or not guilty to her 8-count indictment as part of the arraignment process.

Judge Gregory Adams, who presided in the bond hearing, signed the notice of hearing. Adams was also the judge in the case of Hemy Neuman, who was convicted in March of killing Sneiderman's husband.

The proceeding is scheduled for 9 a.m., according to the notice of hearing.

Sneiderman was granted bond in the amount of $500,000 Tuesday. She is limited to her parent's home, must wear an ankle bracelet and must surrender her passport (she had talked of a trip to Italy.) $250,000 of the bond money can come from collateral., according to the ruling.
