Are you a big hoops fan? Got a smartphone? Why watch the games at a local bar in Dunwoody when you could go downtown and see it live?
You could be in luck. AT&T, the official wireless sponsor of the NCAA, is giving away 25 pairs of tickets to this week’s NCAA South Region basketball tournament at the Georgia Dome.
Kentucky, Indiana, Baylor and Xavier will be in town vying for the opportunity to advance to the Final Four in New Orleans. Beginning today, AT&T is conducting a "Ticker Chaser" event for those who have a smartphone and register online here.
The idea is to track track down the "Ticket Guy" who will be somewhere in the city and giving away the game tickets, as well as 60 VIP viewing party tickets. Check out the video to see how the events works.
In addition, AT&T is hosting a viewing party on Friday beginning at 5 p.m. at STATS, located at 300 Marietta Street. VIP ticket holders will get free food and drinks and former and NBA standout John Salley will be in attendance from 6:30-8 p.m. signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans.
