Chamberlain Hrdlicka Hires Two Local Attorneys to Boost Tax Controversy & Estate Planning Practices

ATLANTA, Aug. 15, 2014 – The law firm of Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry is pleased to announce the addition of Barclay R. Taylor and Christopher A. Steele as associates in the firm’s Atlanta office. Taylor is a member of the firm’s Tax Controversy & Litigation practice group, and Steele joins the Estate Planning & Administration practice group.

Taylor comes to Chamberlain Hrdlicka from KPMG, LLP, and brings extensive experience in corporate structuring, international transaction matters and different methods of tax minimization. He represents individual and corporate taxpayers in disputes with the Internal Revenue Service.

He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, his law degree from Mercer University School of Law, and his LL.M. in taxation from SMU Dedman School of Law.

Steele focuses his practice on estate and asset protection planning, as well as the administration of complex trusts and estates. He has experience in preparing complex wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, grantor trusts, life insurance planning, planning for incapacity and complex gifting techniques. In addition, he provides clients with counsel during the design and implementation of business succession plans.

He earned his undergraduate degree from Georgia State University, his law degree from Mercer University School of Law, and his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law.
