15-Year-Old Arrested for Stabbing Brother

Johns Creek Police arrested a 15-year-old for allegedly stabbing his brother after being accused of trying to get high.

On July 19 Johns Creek Police responded to a call from a home on Saddle Bridge Lane regarding a person who had been stabbed with the suspect still on the scene.

The responding police officer found two males standing on the home's porch. When the officer arrived both males went into the home. Two additional officers arrived. The front door was half open and the officer saw a female holding a towel to the upper right side of the chest of one of the men.

The officers went into the home and detained the male who had allegedly stabbed the other. The knife was located in the kitchen sink. Paramedics arrived on the scene.

A witness stated that the two males, who are brothers, began arguing earlier when walking their dog. The witness stated that they were arguing over the fact that one was allegedly taking over-the-counter pills to get high.

The male, 15, who had been accused by his brother of taking the pills, then stabbed his brother, according to the witness. The witness stated that he heard the mother screaming that her son had been stabbed.

The father stated that he was upstairs asleep when he heard his wife screaming. He said he saw his son lying on the ground bleeding from the chest and his other son holding the knife.

The victim was transported to Emory Johns Creek, while the suspect was arrested for aggravated assault and put in custody for a mental health evaluation.
