Update, Tuesday, 5:10 p.m.: Johns Creek work crews have removed a large tree that fell across Bell Road early Tuesday. The road is now open and all utilities have been restored.
A downed tree on Bell Road has interrupted power and cable service to an unknown number of residents in the area. Removal of the tree and restoration of utilities is expected to take several hours.
At about 9:30 a.m. a large tree fell across Bell Road between the northern intersection of horseshoe-shaped Rogers Circle and the southern intersection of Rogers Circle in Johns Creek. To bypass the blockage, traffic is being routed onto Rogers Circle.
