The city of Johns Creek has scheduled series of public hearings in September on its proposed $68.9 million budget for fiscal year 2015.
The budget will be discussed by the Johns Creek City Council at its 5 p.m. work session on Sept. 8.
Public hearings will be held during the 7 p.m. council meetings on Sept. 8 and Sept. 22.
The Council is tentatively scheduled to approve the budget Sept. 22 following the second hearing. All hearings will be held in City Council chambers on the 3rd floor of Johns Creek City Hall at 12000 Findley Road.
The City Council approved a property tax rate of 4.614 mills for 2014, the same rate established when the city was founded in 2006.
Johns Creek’s fiscal year runs Oct. 1 to Sept. 30.
