Woman Receives Cobb Group's Top Honor

The Cobb County Legal Professionals Association has named a Kennesaw State University-trained paralegal as its Member of the Year.

Tammie Gruhn of the Gunn Firm P.C. in Marietta has been a member of the association since 2009, the same year that she completed her paralegal coursework at the College of Continuing and Professional Education at Kennesaw State.

Gruhn said she would not be where she is in her career without the association and her training at Kennesaw State.

"The curriculum is right on point," she said. "The instructors were absolutely fabulous. The location and time of the classes and access to everything was great."

Pam Cannon, KSU's paralegal certificate program director, said: "We are proud of Tammie and her accomplishments. She is a great representation of the quality of our students and our program."
