CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: February 20, 2015 – February 22, 2015

Zone 1
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Jersey Walnut Grove Rd. and Elm St. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Burglary – Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm at a business on Hwy 138. It was discovered that the front window was broken. Lottery tickets were reportedly taken.

Chase – Walton County deputy involved in pursuit of a black, Honda Civic that reportedly left the scene of an accident on Alcovy Station Rd. No contact made with vehicle.

Zone 2
Suspicious Vehicle – An unknown driver of a brown or red vehicle of unspecified make and model was reportedly looking in mailboxes at a residence on Lynch Rd.

Arrest – Charles Roberts and Jamie Harrison were arrested following a dispute at a residence on McGarity Rd.

Zone 3
Extra patrol – Extra patrol was requested at a residence on Pannell Rd. due to individuals reportedly pulling into driveway and taking pictures of residence. When confronted individuals say they are with Spectra Mortgage.

Arrest – Joshua Austin was arrested for an outstanding warrant at a residence on Davis St.

Arrest – Donald Cleary was arrested for two outstanding warrants.

Zone 4
Arrest – Anthony Arnold was arrested for an outstanding warrant for Probation Violation at a residence in Marable Place Apts.

Arrest – Stephen Neal was arrested for an outstanding warrant for Probation Violation at a residence on Kelton Rd.

Firearms – Firearms were reportedly discharged in the area of John Deere Rd.

Arrest – Dustin Lewis was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Zone 5
Suspicious Person – A white male was reportedly hunting in wood line behind subdivision on Waterford Ct. Area checked. No contact made.

Burglary – A residence was reportedly entered on Nancy Way. Oxycontins and cash were reportedly taken.

Injured Animal – An injured canine was reportedly in the backyard of a residence on Hickory Grove Church Rd. Area checked. No contact with canine.

Fraud / Telephone Harassment – Subject at a business on Ozora Church Rd. reportedly received calls from a male claiming to be from GA Power and was reportedly attempting to obtain credit card information for an unpaid bill. Subject is reportedly with Walton EMC and is reportedly current on bill.

Firearms – Firearms were reportedly discharged in the area of Windridge Dr.

Alarm – Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm at a business on Hwy 78. Business checked. Everything okay.

Zone 6
Burglary – A residence was reportedly entered on Youth Monroe Rd. Prescription pills were reportedly taken.

Harassing Phone Call – Subject at a residence on N Sharon Church Rd. reportedly received a phone call from an unknown number that was possibly a phone scam.

Arrest – Charles Jackson was arrested for Disorderly Conduct following a dispute at a residence on Hwy 20.

Theft Report – Several hundred dollars in tools were reportedly taken from the carport of a residence on Barnes Ct.

Alarm – Walton County Deputies responded several times to an alarm at a residence on Logans Bluff. Key holder notified. Everything okay.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Rabbit Farm Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 20 and Ivory Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Zone 7
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Youth Monroe Rd. and Southern Hills Dr. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Entering Auto / Damage to Property – A 92 Cruise Air RV was reportedly entered and wiring under hood and brake lines were reportedly cut at a storage lot on Hwy 138.

Damage to Property – A 2014 Fleetwood RV was reportedly damaged at a storage lot on Hwy 138. The ignition wires were reportedly cut and coil packs reportedly broke or removed from the engine.

Damage to Property – Sod was reportedly damaged at a residence on Nunnally Farm Rd. Extra patrol requested due to ongoing problem with teenagers mudding down Nunnally Farm Rd. and driving through subject’s yard.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Kent Rock Rd. and Emmett Still Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
