Body Found Inside Vehicle Identified as Missing Woman
Charlene Baggette's body was found at the bottom of a ravine at Trickum and Steinhuaer roads.
MARIETTA, GA — Police say the body that was found inside a vehicle at the bottom of a northeast Cobb County ravine belongs to that of a woman who has been missing since late June.
Charlene Baggette was found behind the wheel of her black Mazda Miata on Friday morning. The car was at the bottom of a ravine near the intersection of Steinhauer and Trickum roads.
Baggette had last been seen in the Lassiter Road area of Cobb County.

Police said it appears Baggett was traveling westbound on Steinhauer Road attempting to negotiate a right curve in the road. The car left the roadway and struck several trees before entering a wooded area about 50 yards off the road.
