eVestment to Hire 80 to 100 New Employees in 2014

While Georgia’s and the United States’ unemployment rate remains stubbornly high, one company, Marietta, Ga.-based  eVestment, plans to hire 80 to 100 people during 2014 to help support and propel the company’s growth.  eVestment offers a suite of software and cloud-based products that provide data, insight and analysis on investment trends to the institutional investment community. 

eVestment currently employs just over 200 people, primarily in its north Atlanta headquarters office, but also in offices in New York City; Hong Kong; London; and Sydney, Australia.  The addition of these new employees will increase the company’s employee count by about 50%.  About 80% of the positions will be based in eVestment’s north Atlanta headquarters.

“As institutional investors, consultants and investment managers look to get an edge in this fast-moving market, the hunger for the data, analytics and insight eVestment provides has grown exponentially,” said eVestment Founder and CEO Jim Minnick.  “We’re looking to add sharp, engaged, top-notch people to our team to help us capture that growth and continue a trajectory that has seen eVestment increase revenue and employee count every year since we were founded in 2000 and appear on the Inc. 500/5000 lists for 7 years running.”

The company is looking to fill positions primarily in sales, client service, product strategy and software development.
