What is it that we love most about estate, garage and yard sales? I enjoy seeing other people's stuff. It's interesting to discover new objects, tools, jewelry and things that other people can tell you about.

The bargains—can't beat'em. Where else can you buy something of quality for less than a dollar?

Grab a friend and embark on a fun-filled day of sale hopping.

1. Multi-family garage sale. Everything you can image for kids and home. Baby items, children's clothes, toys, furniture and housewares.  Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Falcon Crest Neighborhood. Houses 2693, 2694 and 2696 on Raven Trail NE.

2. Rain or shine moving sale that includes two HP printers at $5 each, that work, some women's clothes size 6/medium to size 10, curtain pairs and rods and more small items. The main attraction: furniture.

Larger items include Little Tykes Playhouse, Barbie Jeep, antique armoire with mirrored hatbox and door, and antique chest of drawers. Clothing and shoes are name brand from stores such as Gap, Belk and Macy's. Great selection of fall and winter items. Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Walker's Ridge Subdivision. 2096 Arrington Ct. SW.

4. This sale is consolidating households, so there is furniture, household items, home decorating items, appliances (refrigerator, more), electronics (big screen TV, not flatscreen), video game chair,  exercise equipment (AB roller, treadmill, more), luggage, women's purses, women's clothing sizes 11 to 14, girls junior clothing size 3 to 7, boys clothing sizes 10 to 14 and more. Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 2626 Watercrest Ct.

5. This would be a moving sale but the family already moved. They don't have room for all their stuff. Men will want to come along to this sale to see the tools and other "manly items." Honda Odyssey Storage carousel fits in the floor storage compartment, never used $40. Industrial storage shelves (the kind you get at Home Depot for the garage).
