Midtown Armed Carjacking Insult: '‘Go, Ho!’
A 19-year-old woman was the victim of an alleged armed carjacking early Tuesday morning off 14th Street in Midtown.

The incident occurred in the parking lot behind the tattoo parlor, Studio 219 INK, located at 219 14th Street in the Home Park neighborhood.

According to Atlanta Police Officer Kim Jones, the robbery occurred around 2:40 a.m. That’s when the victim reported to police to have been waiting in her rental car for a friend to emerge from the business.

She told police that she noticed a white Ford Taurus, possibly from the early 2000s, enter, exit, and then re-enter the lot. The second time, a male exited the vehicle's passenger door, approached the victim’s car and tapped on the driver’s side door with a handgun.

The victim followed his demand to get out of the vehicle, leaving behind her wallet and cell phone. Once she was outside the car, the male got in the vehicle and told her to back up and ‘Go, Ho!’

Both vehicles then exited the parking lot traveling northbound on Barnes Street. The vehicle stolen was a 2014, red, four-door Chevrolet Cruze with a Georgia tag number of CBG2776.

The victim described the suspect as a black male, standing approximately 5-foot-11, clean shaven and in his early 20s. He was reportedly wearing a gray and white skull cap and a black hoodie.
