Two metro-Atlanta men were arrested in North Carolina after their vehicle was found with counterfeit gift cards and a card-coding machine.
Andrew Brice Chuck-A-Sang of Duluth and Donte Morant of Atlanta were being held in the Durham County jail on bonds of $200,000, the Durham News Observer reported.
They are charged with possession of counterfeit instruments, possession of forgery devices and trafficking in stolen identities, according to jail records.
The men were stopped in I-85 for an unspecified traffic offense Tuesday afternoon, June 3. Police found gift cards encoded with numbers from stolen credit cards, phony identification cards, and the coding machine.
