The holiday shopping season kicks off in a big way next week when retailers in and near Midtown officially celebrate Black Friday.
That fabled day after Thanksgiving is one of the biggest sales days of the year for many stores – both national, big box chains and local retailers. It’s also one of the best days to save on items big and small as retailers pull out the stops to offer amazing deals to get customers in their doors.
The latter is exactly why we want to help Midtown Patch readers map out a Black Friday game plan. But to do that, we need your help.
What are your “must-shop” Black Friday destinations in the Midtown area? What are some of the best deals you’ve come across so far? Share your preferences and savings finds in the comments section below. If you’re a retailer, we want to hear from you, too!

Black Friday shoppers can enjoy extra incentives during the biggest shopping day of the year. Spend $250 at Atlantic Station on Black Friday, and receive one free ticket to Bodies the Exhibit or Titanic – The Exhibition. Present same-day receipts to concierge. One per customer while supplies last.
Guests can also take advantage of exclusive discounts with Atlantic Station’s Holiday Gift Guide that will be distributed to shoppers on Black Friday, packed with savings on dining, shopping and entertainment offerings through the New Year.
