During Thursday night's severe weather, the screen covering The Coca Cola Company's North Avenue tower was damaged.
The company has decided to take down the screen, and therefore, will cancel the illuminations on the building.
All month, on the tower in honor of their 125th anniversary. The display was supposed to go on through Memorial Day weekend.
"Unfortunately, we will not be able to continue the illumination through this weekend as originally planned," said Bryan Long, spokesman for The Coca Cola Company.
"It has been a privilege to say 'thank you' with this this special month-long illumination and we apologize the viewing period has been abbreviated by inclement weather."
Long said no one was hurt during the storm last night and there was no damage to the building.
"However, for safety precautions we are in the process of removing the screen," he said Friday afternoon.
