Security Guard Shot Multiple Times at Norcross Hotel

NORCROSS, GA — A security guard was in critical condition Thursday after being shot multiple times in the hallway of a Norcross hotel.

Gwinnett County Police were alerted to the shooting by a 911 call Thursday morning from a resident of the Norcross Extended Stay, at 2250 Pelican Dr. in Norcross.

When officers arrived, they found the victim in a hallway of the hotel. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he was taken into surgery and listed in critical condition.

By late Thursday morning, police did not yet have a detailed description of a suspect in the case.
