Football for a Good Cause at Kell

A press release from the Georgia Panthers semi-professional football team:

The Georgia Panthers are hosting the Tennessee Crush for a semi-pro football game on Saturday, March 9 at Kell High School.

Joseph Courson, owner and head coach, is launching this "Panthers Against Cancer" game for a local family whose wife/mom (Monica) is currently battling cancer.

From 2-4 p.m. they are hosting a family-friendly carnival on the field behind the stadium with activities and games for kids of all ages. Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Braves players are scheduled to be there as well as Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Hawks cheerleaders.

There will be local food vendors on site and a live radio broadcast. Then the game begins at 4 p.m. on the varsity field! Halftime will include great entertainment and the check presentation to Monica, the cancer patient, and her family.

The cost of $10 - that's right - $10 (under 3 free) pays for admission to ALL carnival activities and the game! We want to pack the stadium for the Panthers and Monica.
