Two Arrested on Charges of Stealing $65,000 Worth of Chicken Wings 

Two men have been arrested in connection to stealing $65,000 worth of frozen chicken wings in Gwinnett County, according to police.

Renaldo Jackson, of Tucker, and Dewayne Patterson, of Lithonia, were both employees of Nordic Cold Storage off Pleasantdale Road in Doraville, where the chicken was reportedly taken from. Read more on Lawrenceville Patch.

Lake Lanier Home Used in Upcoming Schwarzenegger Film 

The Foundation for Ichthyosis & Related Skin Types, Inc. (FIRST) recently received a $35,000 contribution thanks in part to an upcoming Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.

Mike Briggs, President-Elect for Foundation for Ichthyosis & Related Skin Types, Inc. (FIRST), was approached by a scouting crew and asked if his Lake Lanier home could be used as a location in “Ten,” an Arnold Schwarzenegger film slated for release in 2014. Read more on Cumming Patch.

Hospitalized APD Officer Returns Home

Good news for the family of APD Officer Robinson who was shot in the face near West End Mall, arrived this weekend when Robinson left the hospital to finish his recovery at home with his family.

Frank Nance is accused of shooting the officer in the face when the officer began investigating what he thought was a drug deal on the night of January 11th.  A short foot pursuit occurred as Robinson approached a group of young men, and Nance is suspected of firing a weapon and striking Robinson. West End Tattoo Shop Murder Suspect in Custody 

The Atlanta Police Department released survelliance camera footage of 3 suspects who were wanted in connection to the deadly shooting that occured on Janurary 16th at the tattoo parlor located at 806 Lee Street.

The video was first released over the weekend, and on Monday the police department had 1 suspect in custody. Read more on Cascade Patch.
