Man Accused of Shoplifting Chainsaw Bar by Hiding it in his Pants
When confronted about the alleged theft, the Gainesville man reportedly starting swinging and kicking at the Oconee County, Ga. Lowe's employees. An arrest doesn't mean a conviction.

A Gainesville man was unsuccessful in an attempt to shoplift a 24-inch chainsaw bar from Lowe's last Wednesday by hiding it in his pants, according to an Oconee County Sheriff's Office incident report.
The 27 year old roamed the home improvement store before purchasing a soft drink and heading out the door, a security guard told a deputy.
But the guard said he wasn't fooled; he'd seen the man stuff a $60 Husqvarna model 460 chainsaw rancher bar down his pants, so he confronted him outside.

The guard said the man tried to push him out of the way and flee but couldn't get by him.
It took several employees and a bystander to subdue the man, according to the report, who at that point was reportedly swinging his arms and fists and kicking his legs.
