When the bell rings Monday morning at Norcross High School, it won't be a typical start of the week - this day will be special.
The Blue Devils now, for the first time since 1957 when the school began playing football, can claim the title "state champion."
But it's not just the students, teachers and parents that are celebrating - the entire Peachtree Corners community joins in.
We'd like to hear from you on what this first state championship means to you. Please take a moment and write your comments below - this is a proud day for everyone.
On a side note, Bob Chadwick, a long-time Norcross High School supporter volunteered his expertise to shoot these photos for Patch. You often will find Bob on the sidelines shooting the action at football and basketball games.
For Patch he turned his lens on the band, the students, proud parents, and of course, the football team. Enjoy a look back at the Blue Devils' victory - and be sure to leave a comment on the school's first football state championship.
