Comparing all incidents in the city from January-October 2012 and January-October 2013, there was a 32-percent decrease in all incidents reported (from 3,678 to 2,500), and 29-percent decrease in major (Part I) crimes (610 to 418).

Here’s a breakdown of crimes reported, from Aulbach’s City News and Updates for Feb. 23:

  • Robberies: 46 (2012); 28 (2013)
  • Assaults: 37 (2012); 25 (2013)
