The City of Peachtree Corners will host an open house for community members on Sunday, Jan. 6. The open house will feature a drop-in reception at 147 Technology Parkway, Suite 200 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the new and first City Hall as well as be the first to see the city's new logo and tagline.
City Mayor Mike Mason encourages the public to attend. "We would love to see the community turn out for this first event in our new space. We have spent the last six months, since our July 1 incorporation, getting ready for this and it's a big step for our new City," stated the Mayor in a press release.
The new logo, created by Accent Creative Group of Lawrenceville, will not only be found on official city documents and marketing materials, it will also be visible on street signs and banners.
Accent Creative President Pam Ledbetter stated in a press release, "We were truly honored to have been selected to design the Peachtree Corners' new logo. We worked closely with a community advisory committee to make certain the logo was a visual representation of both the city's heritage and its future."
At the reception Boy Scout Troop 1963 from Peachtree Corners will be presenting the colors. For more information regarding the open house, visit http://www.cityofpeachtreecornersga.com.
