Centennial, Roswell Among America's Most Challenging Schools
Two high schools in Roswell have been named to the list of most challenging high schools.

Both Roswell and Centennial high schools have been named the  America's Most Challenging High Schools list published by  The Washington Post

Both schools made the list in 2013.

Roswell's overall rank is 390 while Centennial comes in at 716. When narrowed down to Georgia, Roswell is at 21 while Centennial sits at 34.

The index formula used for the rankings measures public and private high schools’ ability to challenge their students. A school’s ranking is determined by dividing the number of college-level tests given by a school to all its students by the number of graduates for that year.

Only 9 percent of the roughly 22,000 public high schools earned placement on the 2014 list.
