Police: Taco Bell Employee Stole Identities While Working Drive-Thru Window

An employee at a fast food restaurant is accused of stealing customers’ financial information to make unauthorized purchases.

Roswell police have arrested and charged Rosetta Louise Brinson with two counts of identity fraud, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and two counts of computer theft.

Fulton County Jail records show Brinson was booked into the facility on March 11 with a $40,000 bond.

According to the Roswell Police Department’s Facebook page, while working the drive-thru window at Taco Bell at 915 Holcomb Bridge Road, Brinson “would tell the customers that she needed to type in their credit card number manually because the register was not working.”

Brinson also asked for the customer’s three-digit security code on the back of their cards, the agency alleges. A customer alerted Roswell police after they noticed fraudulent charges on her credit card statement.

Police said they believe there could be other victims. Anyone who went through this particular drive through during February and March is asked to closely review his or her credit cards statements and file a police report if they notice any suspicious charges.
