Dr. Peak will see patients at the Resurgens Roswell (1285 Hembree Road, Suite 200-A) and Cumming (1100 Northside Forsyth Drive, Suite 340) offices, and will continue Resurgens’ mission of providing state-of-the-art orthopaedic care to patients close to home, according to Resurgens co-president, Dr. Kay Kirkpatrick.
“Dr. Peak gives us another incredibly talented orthopaedic
surgeon on our team, and we’re excited to have him join us in Cumming and
Roswell,” said Dr. Kirkpatrick.
Dr. Peak, a graduate of Emory University’s School of
Medicine, said he couldn’t envision being anywhere else.
“I’m honored to join Resurgens and come back to Atlanta. I’m
very much looking forward to adding to their reputation as the best orthopaedic
practice in Georgia,” Dr. Peak asserted.
Dr. Peak received his medical degree from Emory University’s
School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. He completed his residency at Thomas
Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, and his total joint fellowship
at Thomas Jefferson’s Rothman Institute for Orthopaedics.
Dr. Peak’s areas of expertise include adult reconstructive surgery of the hip,
knee, and shoulder; hip, knee, and shoulder joint replacement; total joint
revisions; anterior approach hip surgery; reverse total shoulder joint replacement;
and computer/robotic-assisted surgery.
