Whipping up the perfect meal just got easier thanks to “Just A Taste” - Barrington Hall’s first cooking show series.
Filmed in the historic home’s kitchen, “Just A Taste” features five short instructional videos hosted by Chef John Wilson, including:
- Black Bean Salsa
- Tuscan White Bean Spread (video attached to the article)
- John’s Ragu (Marinara) Sauce
- Parmesan Risotto with Fresh Chives
- Chicken Satay with Peanut Dipping Sauce
RCTV will air one video a month for the next five months.
Wilson, the owner of Culinary Vacations, Inc., is a certified chef and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. He is the Culinary Director for Perimeter College in Atlanta and hosts cooking classes throughout the year at Barrington Hall on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. The cost for each class is $50 per person and includes all materials and food.
During each session, students will learn how to prepare a full meal from main course to dessert, using classic European and International cuisine and cooking techniques. Guests will sample their creations while enjoying complimentary wine.
