The council will review accepting state funding to resurface three city streets.

Roswell Could Accept State Funds for Road Resurfacing
The Roswell City Council will consider accepting state funding for local road improvements during its meeting tonight.

The council's meeting starts at 7 p.m. at Roswell City Hall. The meeting will be preceded by a work session, which will get started at 5:30 p.m. The work session will entail the council working on its 2014-15 budget. Specifically, the council will discuss revenues and fees and employee benefits and compensation.

The city during the meeting will consider accepting Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant, or LMIG, funding from the Georgia Department of Transportation in the amount of $626.995.26. The city will use the funding to resurface Old Alabama Road, Old Mountain Park Road and Old Roswell Road.
