Roswell Special Election Forum Set For Feb. 28

ROSWELL, GA -- The Roswell Woman's Club will host a forum where you can learn more about the five candidates running in the special election to fill the vacant Post 4 City Council seat.

The forum will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28 in the Council Chambers at Roswell City Hall.

Candidates who've qualified to fill the unexpired term of Kent Igleheart are Tracy Hanley, Lori Henry, Shelley Sears, Marie Willsey and Shawn Wright.

Questions for candidates may be submitted by Feb. 24 on the Roswell Woman's Club website or by mail at P.O. Box 522, Roswell, GA 30077.

If you'd like to submit questions the night of the forum, you must do so before the 7 p.m. start time. Entry to City Hall is through security, located on the bottom floor to the left if you're facing the building.

Club members volunteering at the forum will be admitted at 6 p.m. Candidates and a minimum of three to four of their staff can be admitted between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Guests attending may come in beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Early voting for the race will be held Monday, Feb. 27 through Friday, March 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Residents can cast ballots at two locations in Roswell: Roswell Public Library at 115 Norcross Street and East Roswell Public Library at 2301 Holcomb Bridge Road.

The special election will be held March 21.
