Sinkhole Reopens On Highway 9 In Roswell
The far-right southbound lane is closed between Oxbo Road and Oak Street, which will impact your Nov. 1 morning commute.

ROSWELL, GA -- A sinkhole that formed more than two months ago on Atlanta Street/Highway 9 in Roswell has made another appearance, forcing the city to close the far-right southbound lane between Oak Street and Oxbo Road.
City spokesperson Julie Brechbill said the city believes the concrete that was poured into the sinkhole "has settled a couple of inches." Only one southbound lane remains open, and both northbound lanes are open for motorist to use.
Of course, you can expect this to impact your Wednesday morning commute, as Georgia Department of Transportation crews will be working on the sinkhole from 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Nov. 1.
