Soil Sensor System Helps Roswell Save Water

ROSWELL, GA -- UgMO Technologies recently presented the Water Warrior award of the year to the city of Roswell for its leadership and commitment to water conservation.

UgMO Technologies recognizes the effort of Roswell to reduce water consumption using new technology and a commitment to sustainability.

The award was presented at the City Council's April 11 meeting. Roswell installed the UgMO system, a wireless soil sensor system designed to monitor landscape irrigation systems, and from September 2014 to December 2015, theUgMO system saved the city 64 percent in water savings and a cash savings of $110,089 from the previous year.
