  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years management experience

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Uses clinical judgment to manage delivery of patient care safely and effectively.
  • Promote interpersonal relations with all contacts in the hospital setting.
  • Represents Maxim in the hospital setting in a positive image by serving as a role model in quality of care delivered, manner of dress, and professionalism.
  • Uses knowledge and practice in accordance with Nurse Practice Act; Standards of Nursing Practice; Standards of Patient Care; JCAHO, state and local laws; and hospital policies.

Requirements 

  • Develops, coordinates and manages all Volunteer Services/H2U/Senior Services activities.
  • Promotes organizations to both internal and external audiences·         Develops membership and recruitment campaigns to meet goals.
  • Collects data to trend growth of membership.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related gerontological field of study such as sociology, psychology, social work, or human resources.
  • Certificate in Gerontology studies preferable.
  • Three years marketing skills in the area of adult programs/volunteer services.
