Location: 4002 Highway 78 Suite 220
Previous Scores: 92/A, 98/A
Deficiencies observed: Potentially hazardous foods holding in the line prep cooler and chicken prep cooler above 41F up to four hours. Swai is listed as catfish on the menu. Foods are not honestly presented. Quaternary ammonium is used as to clean the dining tables and test strips are not provided.
Bruster's Ice Cream and Yogurt
Location: 2324 Scenic Highway
Previous Scores: 96/A
Deficiencies Observed: Bare hands contacted ready-to-eat food: Employee's bare hands contacted banana as it was being sliced and layed on top of a customer's ice cream.

Deficiencies observed: Sinks with mold-like substance present. Sinks not maintained clean in between uses. Gaskets on the coolers with mold-like substance present; buildup of dirt and/or food substance on shelf and walls; outside of pizza pans with buildup of grease present.

Deficiencies observed: Cold-held potentially hazardous foods not maintained below 41oF; no time controls/documentation in place. Grill cook was wearing a watch while cooking. Beverage machine drain pipes are leaking onto electrical devices and the cabinetry underneath the soda dispensing stations in the lobby.
Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery
Location: 2189 Scenic Highway Suite B

Deficiencies observed: Large black particles in the block of ice which was already there. A flat cardboard box being used as a shelf liner for the dry ingredients was soiled and dirty.
Johnny's New York Style Pizza
Location: 3035 Centerville Highway #10

Deficiencies observed: Employee was observed removing unclean dishes from the dining tables then later placed clean equipment on the shelf for drying without washing hands. Food employees not washing hands at a frequency to prevent contamination of food and/or equipment.

Deficiencies observed: Hard plastic carafes for making breadstix sauce and pizza sauce are left air drying with food debris and residue inside. There is not a bottle brush on site for cleaning these carafes. ood residue and particles are stuck to the doors and gaskets of the pizza make line cooler. Green shelving throughout the entire store is sticky and coated with dust and debris
Romano's Macaroni Grill

Deficiencies observed: Bare hand contact with lemons at the wait staff station in the middle of the dining room. There is no handwashing soap in the bar. Foods stored uncovered inside prep coolers with heavy condensation dripping at the ceiling: Marsala sauce, mushrooms, prepared sandwiches, etc.

Deficiencies observed: Person in charge is unaware of the employee health policy. Each food employee must be aware of the reporting, restrictions, and excluding responsibilities. A outdoor grill is being used for cooking burgers on the weekend. Establishment has an outdoor cooking area that is neither unenclosed nor permitted by Gwinnett Environmental Health. Ice machine has buildup of mold-like substance present. Ice bins, beverage dispensing nozzles and units, cooking oil storage tanks, coffee bean grinders, or water vending equipment not cleaned at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil or mold.
