Original story from 10/31/12:

DeKalb County police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man thought to be responsible for trying to commit four sexual assaults this month along the Hambrick Road corridor, close to Memorial Drive and Rockbridge Road.

The attempted assaults happened between October 1-20, police said in a press release about the incidents, which occurred when the victims were walking alone near Hambrick Road.

Detectives say the suspect came up to the women from behind, briefly talked with them, then "inappropriately touch" the women and try to remove clothing  as they walked away, information in the release states.

The women were able to get awat and only had minor physical injuries in each case, according to police.

Police say they don't believe the suspect is armed. He is described as a dark skin black man, with a slender build, between the ages of 20-30, between 5 foot-6 inches and 5 foot-10 inches, with "a distinctly large nose."

A composite sketch is being developed.
