Food Truck Fridays return this weekend in Suwanee.
The series of live music and tastes of local restaurants runs the first Friday every month from April through October (except in July) in Suwanee’s Town Center, beginning this Friday, April 4.
Vendors offer food-truck food from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and live music hits the Town Center stage at 7:30 p.m.
The tentative food lineup this week: Champion Cheesesteak, The Fry Guy, Happy Belly, Ibiza, Mac the Cheese, Smiley's Street Eats, Tracey's Treats, and Yumbii. Different food trucks will be represented each month, according to a City of Suwanee release.
Bluegrass musicians from Everett’s Music Barn are scheduled to perform. Everett’s is celebrating its 50th year this year.
"Food Truck Fridays were among our most popular events last year," Suwanee Events Manager Amy Doherty said in a press release. "Good food, good music, good fun – what's not to like? Food trucks offer an eclectic fare, and our line-up offers a variety sure to please even the pickiest palates."
