Four Teens Caught After Burglarizing House

Sharp-eyed residents in a Tucker neighborhood help police apprehend suspects.

Four Teens Caught After Burglarizing House
Four young men, all teenagers, were arrested Wednesday night in Tucker shortly after they burglarized a house on Morris Avenue, police say.

The suspects left the scene in a green Nissan Altima and were spotted by a neighbor who lives across the street. A description of the car, including its tag number, was given to police. Another resident took video footage of the men in the car on nearby Pine Valley Road.

Officers responding to the incident stopped the Nissan at the intersection of Fellowship Road and Lawrenceville Highway. The occupants were ordered to exit the vehicle, show their hands, and lie face down on the ground, according to the official report. All four were taken into custody.

The burglary victim told police his 32" Samsung TV was missing, as well as two firearms. The items were recovered in the suspects' car, as well as several watches and some foreign currency.
