Join Side by Side Brain Injury Clubhouse for its third annual Jawbones vs. Sawbones basketball benefit to be held on Saturday, March 15, at the gym at Decatur High School.
The fundraiser is presented by Long and Holder, LLP and Cash, Krugler and Fredericks, LLC, according to a news release.
Jawbones, also known as attorneys, and sawbones, as doctors are nicknamed, will wage war on the court. Each team will battle to defend their crown and break the 1:1 tie.
Join hundreds of Side by Side supporters, community leaders, and brain injury professionals for an evening of entertainment which, in addition to the game, will include a silent auction, live music, photo ops with Falcons cheerleaders and Chick-fil-A cows, and the opportunity to meet members of Side by Side and hear their stories.
In its second year, this event raised over $50,000. The presenting law firms led the 70-plus sponsors who helped Side by Side double the money raised by the inaugural benefit. Community groups, such as the Georgia Federation of Women’s Clubs of Stone Mountain and Lilburn, have supported with sponsorships and cheers from the stands since the event began.
Proceeds from the basketball game and silent auction will raise money for scholarships to benefit brain injured adults as they learn to thrive in their “new normal.”
