Silverton Mortgage to Move Corporate Office to Colony Square

Silverton Mortgage Specialists, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has signed a lease to move the company’s corporate office in Midtown Atlanta to Colony Square at 1201 Peachtree Street. Silverton, which has an office in Woodstock, attributes the office move to the company's continued growth and expansion into new markets, as the company was recently licensed in Illinois and anticipates adding more states to its footprint in the coming months. Silverton is expected to complete its move by July.

“Over the past few years, we have experienced tremendous growth in terms of clients, employees and our geographic footprint,” says Josh Moffitt, president of Silverton Mortgage. “By relocating and expanding our corporate office, we will be better able to facilitate our clients’ growing needs while continuing to provide excellent, comprehensive service.”

Silverton will occupy close to 10,000 square feet on the 20th floor of 400 Colony Square. The new office will house the company’s 30 corporate employees, and will have conference and visiting office space for the remainder of its 129 employees from 12 braches.

Colony Square is Atlanta’s original mixed-use project, open since 1973. Today, the complex includes office space, residential condominiums, a retail mall and the W hotel. Colony Square has two office towers, totaling 700,000 square feet.

CBRE, Inc.’s Ryan Irvine represented Silverton, and Chris Ahrenkiel of Tishman Speyer represented the building’s ownership. Silverton will be assisted in its architecture and interior design by VeenendaalCave.
