Explosion, Fire Reported At Sun City Home
The blaze is the second at a Sun City home this week.

HUNTLEY, IL -- Two firefighters were injured after an explosion and blaze at a home in Sun City Tuesday, the Northwest Herald reports. Theresa Jones told the newspaper she was walking her dog with a friend at about 11 a.m. when she felt and heard an explosion coming from a house in the 13400 block of Michigan Avenue. Fire officials responded and put the fire out within an hour.
No one was inside at the time of the blaze and a damage estimate was not readily available, according to the Northwest Herald. The cause of the explosion and fire remains under investigation.

On Sunday, firefighters responded to an attic fire in the 12000 block of Illinois Street. The blaze left the home uninhabitable.
