Fire Damages Algonquin Auto Repair Facility
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
ALGONQUIN, IL — Authorities are investigating a fire reported at an auto repair facility in Algonquin Tuesday night.
The Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District responded to a blaze at 1045 West Algonquin Road at about 7:30 p.m. Firefighters found heavy fire conditions in the multi-unit automotive repair facility, according to a news release from the fire protection district.
The blaze was brought under control within 20 minutes of firefighters arriving at the scene and was declared out at 8:33 p.m.

No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and is being investigated by the Algonquin Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District and the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.
A damage estimate was also not yet available.
