Chicago, IL, June 2, 2016 -- Beverly’s Treadfit is moving to a new, larger location on June 13 that will offer additional space for much needed treadmills and strength stations. The fitness center is relocating to 10326 S. Western Avenue.
The innovative fitness facility opened its doors at its current location just last year and has already outgrown its space thanks to overwhelming neighborhood support. Treadfit offers customized workouts from certified trainers. Each class is designed to improve one’s fitness level using interval training on the treadmill coupled with full-body strength training.

The 50-minute, high energy classes are comprised of strength-building exercises and treadmill intervals that will increase endurance, kick start your metabolism and make you leaner and stronger. Owner Jenny Harkins says no class is ever the same.
Each client receives a heart-rate monitor to track heart rate zones and accurate calorie burn. Throughout the 50-minute workout clients will strive to complete 10 to 18 minutes of training 84 percent or higher than maximum heart rate. Hitting this target will produce an increased metabolic rate for 24 to 36 hours after the workout. Clients on average will burn between 400-800 calories per class.

First-time clients at the new location will receive a complimentary class.
“I am excited to be moving into a larger space that will open up availability in our classes, and provide the necessary space for additional treadmills and strength equipment.” Harkins said. “I feel so grateful for the support we have received from our neighborhood and loyal clients.”
All are welcome at Treadfit, including walkers, joggers and hardcore runners. Individuals can pick an easy pace they can keep for one hour, and the workouts build from there. Classes are open to adults and teens, ages 16 and older.
