Semi-Trailer Rolls Over in Bolingbrook

A truck driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene after a semi-truck and trailer rollover on Remington Boulevard on Wednesday morning.

The semi, which was transporting a container filled with paper product, was headed east on Remington at 8:58 a.m. when the driver allegedly lost control and hit the median, police said. The load shifted and the trailer rolled over onto its side, coming to rest in the westbound lanes, according to police.

The crash, which blocked all westbound lanes and prompted the closure of Remington wet of Route 53, is under investigation by Bolingbrook police.

Police said no additional vehicles were involved in the crash.
