Video Shows Teen Girl Punching Girl on Bus in ‘Premeditated Attack’

The attack happened on a school bus parked at Stevenson High School Monday afternoon.

A 15-year-old girl was beaten on a school bus by a fellow Stevenson High School classmate while another classmate recorded the brutal attack. The video, which shows the attacker punching the girl several times and yelling, “say you're sorry,” was posted to social media, according to NBC Chicago.

The attacker, a 16-year-old girl and student at Stevenson, also threw a water bottle at the victim, a 15-year-old girl, and was arrested Tuesday by police, the Daily Herald reports. The older teen faces a charge of aggravated battery.

A boy on the parked bus eventually breaks up the attack, pulling the older girl off the younger teen.
A third classmate, an alleged accomplice to the attacker, recorded the video and posted it to her Facebook page. School officials told the Lincolnshire Review it appears the attack was planned for the purpose of sharing the video on social media.

"This was a premeditated attack," Conrey said. "These are not little slaps. Clearly, the attacker had someone who had agreed to video the attack."
