Woman Fleeing Long Grove Crash Collides With Four Vehicles in Buffalo Grove: Police

​The first crash happened Sunday morning in Long Grove and the second crash occurred at Arlington Heights and McHenry roads in Buffalo Grove

BUFFALO GROVE, IL - A woman fleeing the scene of a rear-end crash in Long Grove ended up crashing into four vehicles stopped in traffic at the intersection of Arlington Heights and McHenry roads Sunday morning, according to the Daily Herald. She needed to be extricated from her vehicle and was conscious when she was taken to the hospital.

The first crash happened at about 11 a.m. when the woman rear-ended a car at McHenry Road and Route 53. And the second crash happened when the woman was turning onto southbound Arlington Heights Road from McHenry Road and drove over a right-turn island, into two left-turn lanes and crashed into four vehicles that were waiting to turn from Arlington Heights Road onto McHenry Road, the Daily Herald reports.
