Bus On I-80 Catches Fire Near Minooka

MINOOKA, IL — The Minooka Fire Department and firefighters from nearby Morris and Channahon extinguished a bus that caught on fire Thursday as it traveled along Interstate 80. Minooka fire officials reported that nobody was injured in the blaze. The bus was totally engulfed in flames when fire crews got to the call, they said.

The fire occurred around 12:30 p.m., the fire department said.
