Boy, 3, Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Incident
Chicago police released a photo of the car they believe struck the child Halloween night.

CHICAGO, IL — A 3-year-old boy was seriously hurt crossing the street when he was struck by a car in a hit-and-run incident Monday night in the Clearing neighborhood, according to Chicago police.
The boy was hit at about 6:15 p.m. while he was crossing in the crosswalk with his family at 63rd Street and South Natchez Avenue, police said. The boy was taken to Loyola Medical Center and was listed in critical condition, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The police report did not indicate the nature of the boy's injuries.

The vehicle that hit the boy was described as possibly being a late model, four-door Toyota Corolla, either beige or tan in color. The car was last seen travelling westbound on 63rd Street from Natchez and continuing toward Harlem Avenue.
